From an early age, I developed a passion for construction design and the built environment, later gaining hands-on site experience in structural repairs, maintenance, and renovation. Transitioning into property surveying in 2007, I qualified as an RICS Building Surveyor in 2012. Since then, I have broadened my expertise across diverse property styles, from historic structures to modern new builds, while managing contract administration and insurance-based repairs.

I founded Tom Flower Surveying to deliver a modern, multi-faceted service for home buyers and property owners, keeping future sustainability as a core value. Just as you would expect a detailed servicing logbook when buying a classic car, property buyers deserve full transparency regarding a building's history, current condition, and ongoing maintenance—information that is all too often limited during a purchase.
